It was the end of the road for yet another American Idol hopeful, and unfortunately, the cool cat with the contagious smile and wicked moves, Paul McDonald was sent home after a nationwide vote. Find out more revealing details right here!
Tonight, Paul was situated in the bottom three. Alongside him in America’s hotseats was the growling Haley Reinhart and the boy band wannabe Stefano Langone, both who have been there before, a time or two. Question is…did America get it right? It’s obvious that Stefano has quite the fan base after a performance like last night. For those of you who missed it, he sang End of the Road by Boyz II Men, which in my opinion, was completely ridiculous! I was sure it was going to BE the end of the road for Langone tonight, and by the looks of it, it seemed as if he could have had the same premonition. However, America voted, and with 53 million votes, Nashville native Paul McDonald was the chosen one who closed the show with a request by Jennifer Lopez, Maggie Mae by Rod Stewart. Perhaps his Old Time Rock and Roll just didn’t connect with America? Regardless what America thought, I connected with his super fabulous taste in fashion, and his sweet smile of his. BUT the show MUST go on people!
We were also given the musical treat from a familiar face you all may know well, Miss Kelly Clarkson, the first American Idol ever. She hooked up with Mr. Jason Aldean in the platinum-selling duet Don’t You Want to Stay. It’s no doubt why she is an alumni of the phenomenal show, their performance was amazing. Kelly was definitely feeling at home on that stage. Rihanna also graced the stage with an amazing performance of California King Bed. Ri Ri also revealed details regarding her upcoming tour where fans will have the opportunity to be in a very special section of the stage with VIP privileges. How cool is that?
